Eijun Sawamura, a left-handed pitcher for Seidō High School’s baseball team, finally makes his long-awaited debut at the “Spring Senbatsu Koshien tournament” as a second-year student.

CHARACTER

EIJUN SAWAMURA

CV：Ryota Aisaka

Eijun Sawamura is a second-year pitcher on Seidō High School’s baseball team. A left-hander who was entrusted with the ace number starting from the summer tournament, he is known for his strong mentality and fiery competitive spirit. A passionate presence on the field, he often lifts the team’s energy as its mood-maker. His specialty is a deceptive breaking ball delivered from a motion that hides the release point, making it difficult for batters to pick up the timing.

SATORU FURUYA

CV：Nobunaga Shimazaki

Satoru Furuya is a second-year pitcher on Seidō High School’s baseball team and Sawamura’s main rival. His biggest weapon is a blazing fastball that exceeds 150 km/h, though his performance can be inconsistent at times. Cool and quiet by nature, he speaks little but harbors the same burning competitive spirit as Sawamura. He is also a powerful hitter, blessed with exceptional natural talent.

KAZUYA MIYUKI

CV：Takahiro Sakurai

Kazuya Miyuki is a third-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team, serving as the team’s catcher and captain. Known for wearing sports sunglasses during games—his signature trademark—he is regarded as one of the top catchers in the nation. Blessed with a strong throwing arm, exceptional game-calling, and outstanding catching ability, he is a true baseball genius. At the plate, he enjoys targeting and driving the pitcher’s decisive pitches.

YOICHI KURAMOCHI

CV：Shintaro Asanuma

Yoichi Kuramochi is a third-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team, serving as the vice-captain and starting shortstop. A speedy leadoff hitter, he forms an “ironclad” middle infield with second-year player Haruichi Kominato. In the dorms, he is Sawamura’s roommate. Although he has a sharp tongue, he takes good care of his juniors. He is also one of the few players who can stand up to Miyuki.

HARUICHI KOMINATO

CV：Natsuki Hanae

Haruichi Kominato is a second-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and plays second base. Unusually for a high school player, he uses a wooden bat. He enrolled at Seidō following in the footsteps of his older brother, Ryosuke, who has already graduated. Like his brother, he is small in stature, but he is a reliable player on both offense and defense and takes pride in his excellent contact hitting.

NORIFUMI KAWAKAMI

CV：Hiro Shimono

Norifumi Kawakami is a third-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and a pitcher. While he does not rely on overpowering velocity, he possesses the best control on the team. A skilled sidearm pitcher with excellent fielding ability, he is not the type to openly show his fighting spirit, but he carries a quiet determination and passion within.

KENTA MAEZONO

CV：Hiroaki Tajiri

Ken Maezono is a third-year student and the vice captain of the Seido High School baseball team, playing first base. One of the team’s most powerful and durable players, he is a pull hitter known for his strength at the plate. Though he has an intimidating appearance, he also has a kind side and looks out for the entire team.

KENJIRO SHIRASU

CV：Yoshiyuki Shimoduma

Kenjiro Shirasu is a third-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and plays right field. A quiet and reliable player, he is known for his solid defensive skills. Though not flashy, he is a well-balanced player who performs at a high level both in the field and at the plate.

TAKERU ASO

CV：Taishi Murata

Takeru Aso is a third-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and plays left field. In middle school, he was a cleanup hitter, and he remains a highly capable player with strong skills both at the plate and in the field. However, his strong pride can sometimes lead to clashes with his teammates.

HISASHI WATANABE

CV：Akira Ishida

Hisashi Watanabe is a third-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and plays left field. Although he once considered quitting the team, he now contributes through his keen observation and information-gathering skills, using analysis to support the team.

SHINJI KANEMARU

CV：Yoshitsugu Matsuoka

Shinji Kanemaru is a second-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and plays third base. He has been teammates with Tojo since their middle school days. His strong-willed personality drives him to work hard every day, and he has developed into a powerful hitter who excels at hitting fastballs.

HIDEAKI TOJO

CV：Shota Aoi

Shota Aoi is a second-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and plays center field. Having been a pitcher during his middle school days, he developed strong endurance and powerful legs. He has grown into a reliable hitter who can deliver in crucial moments.

KOSHU OKUMURA

CV：Yuma Uchida

Koshu Okumura is a first-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and plays catcher. He is outspoken and unafraid to speak his mind to anyone. In the dormitory, he shares a room with Miyuki and Kimura, and because they play the same position, he shows a strong sense of rivalry toward Miyuki. He also has a small appetite and struggles with the heavy meals required for building his physique.

MASASHI YUKI

CV：Shunsuke Takeuchi

Masashi Yuki is a first-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team. He prides himself on being able to play anywhere on the field, though he primarily plays left field in games. He is the younger brother of former Seidō player and baseball team alumnus Tetsuya Yuki. Known for his powerful full swings and long-hit potential, he still has room to grow defensively.

TAKUMA SETO

CV：Daiki Yamashita

Takuma Seto is a first-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and plays second base. Known for his speed, he excels in baserunning and brings strong mobility to the field. Like Okumura, he comes from the Daikyo Senior League, and he often looks out for his friend Okumura, who is sometimes misunderstood by others.

KAORU YUI

CV：Ayumu Murase

Kaoru Yui is a first-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and plays catcher. During his Little League days, he was talented enough to represent Japan in the Little League World Series. Though small in stature, he is a powerful hitter with outstanding batting instincts.

HIROFUMI ASADA

CV：Tasuku Hatanaka

Hirofumi Asada is a first-year student on Seidō High School’s baseball team and a pitcher. A tall left-hander, he may not throw with great velocity, but his signature pitch is a sharply breaking drop curve that falls dramatically as it approaches the plate.

TETSUYA YUKI

CV：Yoshimasa Hosoya

Tetsuya Yuki is a former member of Seidō High School’s baseball team and played first base. During his time at Seidō, he served as the team’s captain and later entrusted the role to Miyuki. After graduating, he went on to college and continues to play baseball at Meishin University.

RYOSUKE KOMINATO

CV：Nobuhiko Okamoto

Ryosuke Kominato is a former member of Seidō High School’s baseball team and played second base. He is Haruichi Kominato’s older brother. Though small in stature, he is known for his quickness and outstanding defensive skills, along with his tenacious hitting and sharp baserunning instincts supported by keen observation. He is also well known for his sharp tongue.

CV：Daisuke Namikawa

Yu Chris Takigawa is a former member of Seidō High School’s baseball team and played catcher. Once regarded as a highly promising and talented catcher with a bright future ahead of him, he was forced to step away from competition due to injury. While undergoing rehabilitation, he continued to support his teammates from behind the scenes. Sawamura deeply respects him and looks up to him as a master (師匠 Shishō).

TORU MASUKO

CV：Wataru Hatano

Toru Masuko is a former member of Seidō High School’s baseball team and played third base. A classic “gentle giant,” he is a power hitter blessed with an imposing physique. Despite his tough-looking appearance, he is kind-hearted, sincere, and known as a genuinely good guy.

TESSHIN KATAOKA

CV：Hiroki Touchi

Tesshin Kataoka is the head coach of Seidō High School’s baseball team and a former pitcher. Known for his trademark sunglasses and intimidating presence, he is a strict coach who relentlessly pursues victory. However, he also cares deeply about every player on the team, not just the regulars, and encourages their growth. In addition to coaching, he also works as a modern Japanese language teacher at Seidō High School.

HIROMITSU OCHIAI

CV：Susumu Akagi

Hiromitsu Ochiai is a coach for Seidō High School’s baseball team. An experienced and capable instructor, he previously spent 20 years coaching at a prestigious high school baseball program. At first, his pragmatic approach—believing that players without clear potential should be cut—often put him at odds with Coach Kataoka. Over time, however, the two gradually come to respect one another.

KAZUYOSHI OHTA

CV：Eiji Takeuchi

Kazuyoshi Ohta is the team manager of Seidō High School’s baseball club. While he does not provide technical coaching, he is responsible for tasks such as scheduling and arranging equipment. When a game takes an unexpected turn, however, he quickly becomes flustered and starts to panic.

REI TAKASHIMA

CV：Yumi Uchiyama

Rei Takashima is the vice manager of Seidō High School’s baseball team and the daughter of the school’s chairman. Passionate about restoring the team’s legacy as a powerhouse, she is constantly searching for promising new talent. She was the first to recruit Miyuki and also recognized Sawamura’s potential early on, demonstrating her sharp eye for scouting players.

MEI NARUMIYA

CV：Yuki Kaji

Mei Narumiya is a third-year student at Inashiro Industrial High School and the team’s ace pitcher. Armed with a blazing fastball and a devastating changeup, he is widely regarded as the number one left-handed pitcher in the Kanto region. Despite his small stature, he is also a key member of the team’s cleanup lineup and a dangerous hitter at the plate.

TOSHIKI CARLOS KAMIYA

CV：KENN

Toshiki Carlos Kamiya is a third-year student at Inajitsu High School who plays center field. Born and raised in Japan to a Brazilian father, he is known for his unique batting stance and tricky hitting style, and possesses exceptional speed on the bases that rivals Kuramochi’s.

KATSUYUKI SHIRAKAWA

CV：Soichiro Hoshi

Katsuyuki Shirakawa is a third-year student at Inashiro Industrial High School and plays shortstop. Calm and composed with a perfectionist mindset, he is a versatile hitter who can adapt to any game situation, executing plays such as hit-and-runs, bunts, and situational hitting with precision.

RIKU YAMAOKA

CV：Kentaro Kumagai

Riku Yamaoka is a third-year student at Inashiro Industrial High School and plays first base. Batting cleanup for the team, he is considered Inashiro’s main power hitter. Combining both strength and technique, he can drive even slightly misplaced pitches for extra-base hits.

KOJI YABE

CV：TAKANORI MIYAZAKI

Koji Yabe is a third-year student at Inashiro Industrial High School and plays third base. He was one of the players Mei Narumiya recruited to join Inashiro during their middle school days. A natural pull hitter, he specializes in driving the ball to the pull side with power.

ITSUKI TADANO

CV：Yoshitaka Yamaya

Itsuki Tadano is a second-year student at Inashiro Industrial High School and plays catcher. He has great potential as a catcher and has earned the role of the team’s starting catcher. However, he is keenly aware of the gap in ability between himself and Narumiya. Determined to earn Narumiya’s recognition, he continues to work hard to improve his skills.

SHINJI AKAMATSU

CV：Tsubasa Yonaga

Shinji Akamatsu is a first-year student at Inashiro Industrial High School and a pitcher. Despite being a freshman, he has already earned a spot on the team’s roster as an immediate contributor. His signature weapon is a sharply dropping curveball thrown from his tall frame.

HIROSHIGE KUNITOMO

CV：Yutaka Nakano

Hiroshige Kunitomo is the head coach of Inashiro Industrial High School’s baseball team and a highly charismatic professional coach. He took over as head coach of his alma mater ten years ago and has since led the team to the Koshien tournament 15 times in both the Spring and Summer tournaments combined. Known for balancing strict discipline with encouragement, he pushes his ace pitchers hard while demonstrating a deep understanding of how to develop players.

RAICHI TODOROKI

CV：Kensho Ono

Raichi Todoroki is a second-year student on Yakushi High School’s baseball team and plays third base as well as pitcher. His father, Coach Todoroki, is the team’s manager. Blessed with exceptional athletic ability, he possesses extraordinary power and bat control. His energetic and dynamic defense can spark momentum for the team when things go well, though his aggressive style sometimes leads to mistakes.

SHUNPEI SANADA

CV：Hiroshi Kamiya

Shunpei Sanada is a third-year student on Yakushi High School’s baseball team and the team’s ace pitcher. His main weapons are fastball-based pitches such as a shuuto and a cutter, which subtly move to keep hitters from making solid contact. Gifted with outstanding baseball instincts, he is also a key contributor as a position player.

YUTA MISHIMA

CV：Tatsuhisa Suzuki

Yuta Mishima is a second-year student on Yakushi High School’s baseball team and plays first base, pitcher, and catcher. The most ambitious player on the team, he aims to become both the ace pitcher and the cleanup hitter. As a batter, he sees Raichi as his rival, while as a pitcher he competes with Sanada.

KAZUMA AKIBA

CV：Ryosuke Kanemoto

Kazuma Akiba is a second-year student on Yakushi High School’s baseball team and plays catcher, pitcher, and left field. A versatile player capable of handling multiple positions, he pitches sidearm when on the mound. He has been teammates with Mishima since their Little League days.

RAIZO TODOROKI

CV：Rintaro Nishi

Raizo Todoroki is the head coach of Yakushi High School’s baseball team and the father of Raichi Todoroki. He played corporate league baseball until the age of 40, and after retiring, he was recruited by Yakushi High School. Though he appears carefree and unconventional, he possesses a sharp understanding of the game and has quickly transformed Yakushi into a formidable baseball program.

KOSEI AMAHISA

CV：Ryohei Kimura

Kosei Amahisa is a third-year student at Ichidai Third High School and the team’s ace pitcher. His main weapons are a sharp, dramatically breaking slider and a confident fastball. Possessing strong mental toughness, he remains unfazed even in difficult situations and thrives on facing powerful opponents as a true competitor.

TOSHIHIKO TAHARA

CV：Akio Kato

Toshihiko Tahara is the head coach of Ichidai Third High School’s baseball team. A firm believer in playing fundamental baseball, he has great confidence in his players and tends not to give overly detailed instructions. He is also known for his distinctive way of speaking, often mixing English words with Japanese katakana expressions.

KOJI CHIMARU

CV：Toshiya Miyata

Koji Chimaru is a third-year student at Ichidai Sankō High School, playing as both a left fielder and a pitcher. Originally a backup pitcher, he switched to the outfield due to struggles with his mental game. While his mentality remains a challenge, he currently serves as the team’s leadoff hitter.

KOYA URABE

CV：Shugo Nakamura

Koya Urabe is a third-year student on the baseball team at Hoken Gakuen High School and plays pitcher. He originally enrolled at Teito High School and joined its baseball team, but left the team after only two weeks. He later transferred to Hoken Gakuen during his second year. Due to high school baseball regulations, he was unable to participate in official games for one year, making his first official appearance against Seidō High School.

SOICHI NAGIRA

CV：Atsushi Tamaru

Soichi Nagira is a third-year student on Sosei High School’s baseball team and the team’s ace pitcher. His main weapons are a sharp fastball and a breaking pitch known as the “Sosei Two-Seam.” He is also a key contributor at the plate, batting over .4380 and serving as a central figure for the team both as a pitcher and a hitter.

KOJI NARA

CV：Kento Hama

Koji Nara is a third-year student on Sosei High School’s baseball team and plays second base. A talented player who was selected for the Tokyo All-Star team, he is the team’s cleanup hitter and excels in all aspects of the game-running, hitting, and defense. Despite being a right-handed batter, he also has the power to drive the ball for extra-base hits to right field.
